More than a thousand exhibitors were competing this year to win the prestigious prizes New Vision and Special Recognition, already traditionally awarded at the Building Expo. The quality, innovations and attractiveness were the main criteria, by which Belgrade Fair selected within a great competition and proclaimed 15 exhibitors who were above the others.

Among the local exhibitors, the New Vision was won by Belgrade's SIMPRO for Simprolit, a multipurpose mounting/dismantle construction system and the Sabac's POLYMIT B for the inlet bath tub reinforced by ecological polyurethane. The same prize was awarded also to the Bulgarian company IZOMAKS for the Hydrotop 3 in 1, the heat / water / soundproofing, then JCB from the UK for JCB Mini C x 4x4 combined construction machine and DUCO from Belgium for the Duco natural window ventilation.

Belgrade Fair awarded also ten Special Recognitions. They were received by Joint Stock POTISJE KANJIZA – TONDACH for the Saturn Roof Tile, PERI FORMWORKS from Belgrade for Maximo formwork with one-sided anchorage, ICI, New Belgrade for WS2 mobile welding and drilling machine, Joint Stock FMG MARKO TODOROVIC MATOX from Paracin for the single component adhesive for Matox 205 S expanded polystyrene panels. Among the winners is also the Slovenian HELIOS for Heliomix system, MJN from Smederevo for the Prestige polyester overflow swimming pool, FUTURE from Indjija for Future Line Mosquito Screen Case, as well as TEHNIX BEO from Belgrade for S 800 oil and grease sediment separator. For the AA 22 dark gas infra heater, the same recognition was awarded to the company ADRIAN AS from Slovakia and the rewarded one was also DUCON GmbH for the Ducon micro-reinforced concrete.

The decision on the prizes was taken by the jury consisting this year of Mr. Zoran Miskovic and Mr. Nenad Ivanisevic from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mr. Radoslav Aleksic from the Faculty of Technology, Mr. Srdjan Bosnjak from the Belgrade's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mr. Zoran Abadzic from the Faculty of Architecture.

UEPS Prizes

The traditional prizes of the Serbian Economic Advertisers Association – for the best promotional participation were awarded also at the 34th International Building Trade Fair. GRAND PRIX with the Diploma and Statuette, a gift of the Artistic Foundry Workshop Vozdovac – Jeremic Brothers, were received by two companies this year – Joint Stock POTISJE KANJIZA – a member of the TONDACH Group and BAZIS CIVIL ENGINEERING CENTER from Belgrade.

A special recognition for an innovative access to the product promotion was awarded to the company TERRA KOEVI from Belgrade and the one for product implementation in the stand lifting was won by Belgrade’s POLYDEC.

As decided by the jury, the Diplomas for a Successful Promotional Participation were received by the companies HELIOS DOMZALE from Slovenia, KERAMIKA from Mladenovac, UNIVERZUM – KUBRSNICA from Arandjelovac and DF – KRAFT from Belgrade.

Special recognition for an extraordinary contribution and efforts in the organization and promotion of the Building Trade Fair was awarded to the Building Trade Fair Department.
